| GeSiM Micro-Dosage-kit which includes: Multi-Dos and One Channel Syringe Pump.
GeSiM is specialized in the sub-micro liter liquid handling for the life sciences. Micro structuring methods are used to manufacture miniaturized fluidic components from silicon, glass, ceramics, and polymers to create products which cannot be made by conventional methods. Multi-Dos The multi-dos is a control device for up to eight independent dispensers. The PC software supports controlling of all dispensing parameters (voltage, frequency and pulse width). The dispensers can be driven in start / stop mode or in burst mode, with a programmable number of droplets. External triggering is also supported. One Channel Syringe Pump with valve The syringe pump, also known as Dilutor, consists of a stepper motor driven syringe with a three way valve. The valve connects the syringe to the fluid input or output position or switches it to bypass, so the input is connected directly to the output. This allows precise delivering of well defined fluid volumes. The pumps are available with one up to eight channels. As stand alone device you can use it to fill up our dispensers. It is controlled by a personal computer in this case. The syringe pump is also part of our Nano-Plotters™. Here it is used to fill and empty the tubes, wash the pipettes, sample aspiration, etc. In normal dispensing mode the valve is set to bypass. The pump is controlled by the Nano-Plotter™ itself. Nano-Plotters™ with more than eight dispensers can control two syringe pumps so up to sixteen channels are available. |
